It’s pretty trivial to get gems to level 100 by the way, so going to level 120 or so isn’t really unrealistic. So again, with 13 pieces of gear, if you were to augment everything with 103 level gems, you wash out. 15x13 = 195 main stat or 39 levels on a gem if augmented. Say you’re on average missing 15 main stat on every piece of gear you have because they’re only ancient and not primal. You instantly jump 1300 paragon levels by just having your gear augmented with level 100 gems.
Imagine you have all 13 pieces augmented with level 100 gems for an extra 6500 points in your main stat. Paragon levels and augments are what really matters. You really only need Ancients that are respectable, not even close to perfect, and that’s so you can augment them.
